K9ESV-1 Bulletin Board System

Our organization also operates a buliten board system on 144.970 Mhz with ID K9ESV-1. This is an open system and everyone is welcome to post messages by connecting to K9ESV-1. If you are not familiar with packet BBS systems or packet messaging in general this is great place to learn. All you need is a TNC, radio and terminal software. When it comes to radio and TNC just about any will do. As for the software you can use regular terminal or even better Outpost Packet Message Manager. Outpost is a very simple GUI based packet messaging interface. It essentialy eliminates the need to remeber TNC commands and lets you focus on the message.
